Web Content Management Systems
We build content management systems in Bournemouth for companies all over the UK
If you've had to wrestle with your web site or you need to contact your web designer every time you want to update something then maybe a content management system (CMS) is the answer.
Many clients have approached us over the years to build content managed websites, so we've spent plenty of time under the hood developing bespoke solutions to their problems. And more often than not clients made similar requests. Common themes emerged in the content management systems that we we're building.
After a few years developing custom content management systems, we decided to join the dots and build a product that made updating a website really simple for our clients. And that's how foundationCMS was born. Our home-grown website content management tool was designed and developed from the ground up, incorporating all the technical know-how we had learnt along the way.
If you have experienced a badly designed web content management system, you'll be pleasantly surprised how simple ours is to use. It has been designed to be easy and quick to use, allowing you to focus on what's really important, growing your business.
Because the content management system we use has been built by us, we know exactly how it works. This means that if you need it to do something that's not run-of-the-mill, we can easily adapt it to fit your needs. And most importantly we're not restricted to web site design 'templates', which can do more harm than good to a customer's first impression of your business.
A lot of web design companies sell free open source management systems to their customers, but when we tried to use them ourselves, we found that a phD in rocket science was a pre-requisite to doing what we wanted to do.

"We use the term design-led to describe our projects, because we don't force a technical solution on you and then try and design around it. The tools used to manage a project fit around a good quality design idea and that's how we've grown our in-house tools."
