James Hare
One of the UK's leading silk distributors
Following a successful offline rebrand in 2007 by Bournemouth-based Hands On Heads, we were delighted to be invited to design, develop and launch the James Hare silk catalogue online.
Our home-grown easy-to-use content management tool foundationCMS was installed as the management system for the brand new James Hare web site. Using the additional Fabric module, designed for use specifically by the interiors and fashion industries the team at James Hare are able to organise their silks in a number of ways to make accessing the online catalogue as simple as possible for their customers. Searches by colour and fabric type as just two examples.
By implementing a content management system for the new James Hare website this large site is now easily managed by the fashion and interiors company in-house. Adding a new collection or updating company news is all achieved without the need to involve a third-party.
Some detailed photography gives a real feeling of texture to the fabric examples all across the website, allowing customers to make decisions about fabrics that they were never able to make before.
"The new JH site is simply lovely. Above all, it provides an elegant window into the world of James Hare"
Teresa Cobb, Hands On Heads
With an experienced blend of content management, online brand development and a greatly improved site design this project really cements James Hare as one of the uk's leading silk distributors.
